How to install Cpanel

1)Verify whether license is valid by giving main shared ip to the url http://verify.cpanel.net/index.cgi
2)If it is valid please go through the url http://www.cpanel.net/install.html

mkdir /home/cpanel
cd /home/cpanel
wget http://layer1.cpanel.net/latest
sh latest

Commonly Found Cpanel Issues

1) Upcp , sysup and may scripts which were using RPMS were not working

It happens due to many hung rpm processes on the server. Killing those processes will resolve the issue.
Sometimes, when upcp or another such command which updates rpm's is run at the same time another script is updating rpm's, the rpm processes can hang. Then, each time another instance of upcp is run, it hangs and never finishes. This can be fixed by either killing all the rpm* processes or rebooting, and then running "rm -rf /var/lib/rpm/__*" as root via ssh. Then do /scripts/upcp
